hi all

having got our visa we are beginning to make plans for our trip out

do you guys have any suggestions for where we can stay when we first arrive in brisbane???

we are family of five, 3 children 10, 3 and 2 so needs to be family friendly!!!

would also be great if it was furnished, so some sort of holiday rental???

any ideas

Mrs Dagboy has accommodation at Brisbane bayside - here's her website

http://destinationbrisbane.com.au/

She tends to get booked up pretty early so best to book well in advance.

Cheers

If you thought about Gold Coast I could sort out a rental for you at the building where we have our 1+1 apartment - www.crystalbay.com. They do up to 3 bed apartments & are LOVELY!

Try the Toowong Villas (toowongvillas.com.au) - it's clean, can have several bedrooms, furnished with all the kitchen stuff, couple of pools and can walk to the shops, good for getting into Brisbane on bus, train or citycat. Can do longer term stays or short stay.

Have you looked at www.brisbanebound.com

They have nice houses, ideal for families who have just arrived.

Weve booked with Mrs Dagboy for our reccie in April.
The houses look fantastic.
I'd like to think we'll book with them again for a short term when we make the move

I would certainly recommend Mrs Dagboy's house. Great location for all amenities, plus you have Mrs Dagboy and her wealth of knowledge to assist you.
Good luck
There is also a holiday house in Thornlands www.abuzzdynamics.com.au
don't know anything about it but just know that it exists!!!
