I got the yellow envelope!
Yes I did.
But it wasnt the anything to do with Australia, it was junk mail. I pretended it was from DIMIA all the same. I think they should change the colour of the envelopes to confuse people. We could have for instance: Pink - that means Jonny boy Howard isnt at all sure about you but if you bribe him with a few beers, you might just get in. Green - no chance, you're fat, you smell and you have ginger hair. No blueys here thank you. Purple - Give up now, your agent has only put you through because he feels sorry for you. Orange - Wicked, you're in, you will be the dogs bollox when it comes to helping Australia and its economy. Stripey - We are not quite sure of you, but will give you a few months to prove yourself. Red and black with lacey trim - You naughty girl, of course you are welcome, if not for the porn industry. (only joking! - one of those days - you know what its like!) :D |

Think DIMIA envelopes should play 'Advance Australia Fair' when you open them.. I've had a couple of letters exactly the same colour as DIMIA use - got soooo excited - thought they had granted my PR - the contents might as well have said.......nah, nah - you'll have to wait a bit longer.. |
