Go to Brisbane. Perth is boring and full of English, you will be happier in Brisbane

Brisbane beats Perth hands down, location is a major point and you can fly to Sydney in just over an hour from Brisbane.

Perth is too isolated,i could make more money in Perth and buy a cheaper house but location is everything in my opinion.

If thats not convinced you then the Shark attack fatalities world wide is 11% and in Western Australia the average is 22%!!!

61 recorded human deaths due to shark attack in the last 50 years (up to December 2004). Of these, 22 have occurred in Queensland, 16 in South Australia, 9 in New South Wales, 7 in Western Australia, 4 in Tasmania, and 3 in Victoria.

I think you should head to Brisbane, if you didnt manage to find anything through searching this site, then id say Perth can probably cope without you

PS: When you get to Brisbane and decide to hit the beach, dont forget to get in your car first, anything decent is about an hour and a half away
Oh and if you head to the GC make sure you leave early otherwise by the time you get there the sun will of set behind the high rises and you'll be in the dark (somewhere around 2pm)

If you are going to choose your location on that basis you should never leave your house never mind get on a plane and emigrate, wrap everything electrical in your house in aluminium foil and everything else in cotton wool

PS 22% of what? 22% of the people I meet are not killed by sharks every year???

22% of people who live in fear of this shit that's who.

The sea is the realm of the shark - not of the human.
If a shark eats whilst you are in his hood then tough titty - you only have yourself to blame.
