A bunch of us from my office went for a walk along Hay St at lunchtime. An absolutely fabulous day in the city today.
I think even with the humidity the wind would make it bearable most of the time. Adelaide is very dry, and even the winds are hot, although it does cool down enough at night that you can sleep with just a fan and the windows open.

That's a good point. Forget the humidity, I would be more worried about the wind ! Drives me insane (I ought to take up windsurfing or something !) You forget about it all winter and then it comes back !

What a super day! Even though I am nursing a groin strain (over enthusiastic training for a 15K charity walk) I picked the little'n up from kindy at 11:30, which is a 3 minute walk from home, walked to the beach (another 3 minute walk). He got his shoes off and paddled in the rock pools. After about an hour hubby turned up after sleeping from his night shift and we walked round and had a late lunch at our local deli on the Port Bouvard canals. Finally walked around to our village park and beach, watched the little'n having a ball and felt really lucky. SWEET

I've mowed the orchard; cleaned some of the gutters out; got a fire going out the front to burn off all the fallen debris.
Got about another hour left before darkness falls; just got time to mow the paddock at the front.
Bugger the real estate market.......... it can wait for me today.
Nope; I'm going to have the whole day off because we haven't had a day like this for bloody ages. Today is a real estate free day............. so there
