We put in our Application on Sept 1st 2003 but as yet we still have no word from DIMIA .....
Not even a case worker assigned .

Oh my god, 1st September! I thought mine was bad it went in on the 1st March 2004.

Yes money has been taken out, and my agent assures me that this is the norm ....
i can't believe im managing to hold on for this long without going mad ....

I think luck plays a HUGE part of the process. Some cases speed along and some seem to trail in the dregs of the barrel.
After having to wait an additional year for my skills to be accepted by the ACS (previous 7 years work experience was not in the UK and was ignored
), we've been waiting since August 2003 and only received the go ahead for meds/PCC's 2 weeks ago.
Don't feel alone - The wait will be worth it in the end.

My agent has always said thay we would be given a case worker at the end of july / august so i will hang out till then and if not i will start chasing !

Is this your TRA date or when you submitted your Visa Application? If it is your visa, ours went in on the exact same date and we have lodged our bond 28th May and now awaiting visas. Get chasing my man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
