judging from the posts ive read, it can be anywhere between 12 months to 24 months from when you applied.

Some people from then are starting to hear now, so shouldn't be much longer...
Have you heard anything, or been asked to do medicals?
Ours was one of the June 01- Oct 01 ones transferred to Adelaide, I'm still waiting aswell.

I was told by Adelaide that they are processing last April's bunch of applications now.

I assume your application is one of the unfortunate ones (like ours) which is still at London (pre 1/6/01 apps.). We applied (Independent Skilled) 1/03/01 and medicals requested then sent
on 11th October 02. We were told by London AHC a fortnight ago that we would hear from them early last week - needless to say we did nt.
On the positive side according to other posts on this site things are starting to move at London AHC. Hopefully an end to the waiting is in sight. Another poster (Darren) noticed that pre grants /visas tended to be issued just over 3 months after medicals/police checks were submitted.

Hi everyone and thanks very much for your all your replies!!!

I must have tempted fate; the agent rang and left a message on the answerphone and I phoned him today; he posted documentation to us on Friday 24 for us to now go ahead and have medicals/obtain police reports so it looks like we are on to phase II, 20 months later.........

Will let you know what transpires!!!!!!!!
