......to get everything sorted for the move once you have sold your house and have already got the visa? (with no or little preparation beforehand)

What is the quickest someone has got everything done, i.e sorting finances, removals etc?

We are in the situation where our house is not selling, and I don't know whether to start arranging or just enquire and wait until house sale goes through

Any advice would be appreciated, as having a very confusing/frustrating time at the moment

Set fire to it all, get the insurance money and emigrate, buy new stuff and there you go LOL.

All depends on how much stuff you got etc etc at the end of the day everyones story is different.

yoyu can get stuff done in days if you are onmly depending on you, but if other people are involved then how long is a piece of string, itll all come together in the end,

As to house shipping, enquire and get the quote, but John Mason collected our stuff a week before we left. We had the quote in place, but as it was all a timing game for us, I phoned them a few weeks before and they said they was collecting peoples stuff that had booked a week prior! ...

Took 7.5 weeks to arrive door - door WITH customs having a right old sniff through the lot!

I finished worked today, Crown Relo come 25th, we complete on house on 26th and fly to Aus on 27th...... hows that for speed!!!!
