i guess everyones esperience is different but i reckon mine would be pretty average....

it took me 4 weeks to actually get an offer after around 20 interviews and say 40 applications

one recruiter said to me if you work 9-5 for 4 weeks looking for work you should get an offer on average if you are in one of the cities or close by...

that worked out to be true for me....

it then took me a further 4 months to find a job i wanted but had to start on 60% of a salary i was happy with...

it then took 2 years to achieve a good salary...

that was my experience

Hubby saw a job in Wednesday's paper, rang Thursday, interview Friday, started work, with contract Monday.

Finding a job is easy.

Finding the right job with the right money might take a bit longer.

All depends on what you do, how much you need and what you want out of a job long term.

Good luck and hope the move goes OK.

I came as a nurse.....but decided I badly needed a change.

I was approached by Carls boss - asking if I wanted a job with his company...I did
Now I work for a company which runs chess tournaments and coaches children chess in schools all over Melbourne & outlying areas - as well as Tasmania and Adelaide.

How is that for jammyness
