Default How do you receive your visa?

This may seem like a silly question but how do you actually get your visa once it has been granted? Does it get sent to you or do you have to go and get it from somewhere?

It has always seemed so far away but now all we need are the medicals and xrays, it is starting to seem nearer, hopefully.

National Police check came back after 16 days, which our agent says is fast....so hopefully this speed will continue so we get the visa too!!!

Default Re: How do you receive your visa?

On your application form you ticked a box which said something like 'receive visa at nearest DIMIA office or australian mission'.

you'll get an email saying your visa is granted, or a letter.

You then post your passports to Australian High Commission in london, they stamp the visas in and send them back . then you get on the plane!.
