Re: How do we Vote?
Go to the AEC website: http://www.aec.gov.au/election/pva.htm
- Download a postal vost application form
- Wait for the vote to be sent to you
- Fill it in and return it. (to Australia House, The Strand, London)
In terms of who you want to vote for - perhaps a review of candidates policies, party policies and media reports to determine who you most agree with would be in order? All that information is freely available with the power of google at your fingertips.
Personnaly I'd say you have a choice of ultimately having your vote go towards a services cutting rightwing religious biggot led party being in power or a control freak over-spending socialist party being in power. Both seem equally offensive and equally powerless to steer the 'ship of fools' that is the Australian nation towards any kind of improvements. You decide what form of incompetant government you want and vote for it....
