I've not read through all the replies so someone may have already suggested the same places... kmart, target and big w for household stuff, there's usually an offer on at one of them for something handy! Also crazy clarks for plastic stuff - trays, bowls, boxes etc and red dot for plastic stuff too. These shops are all in lakeside, Joondalup, except for crazy clarks which is just outside. Decent bedding is very expensive here so if you can bring it probably best to. I'll be buying some when I go back to the UK next year!
