Dont know if this counts, but we swapped homes 3 years ago, 3 week holiday only with a family in Los Angeles.
The swap was brilliant. They used our car, in the UK we used theirs.
Husband worked for the FBI. We kept thinking the whole house was bugged. Everything that either blinked or had an LED we covered up, HA HA.
Had originally looked at swapping houses initially in OZ but have decided against it. We just felt that we would still need to return to go through the whole selling process, after a year if things went as planned.
If things dont work out we decided to it would be better to just return and buy again.
