Hi , i don't know about Brisie but have you thought about trying up or down the coast. We live in Caloundra on the Sunshine coast about an hour north of Brisbane and there are plenty of short term lets i could even recomend one . I would imagine it would be the same down on the Gold coast (even closer) . Just a suggestion hope it is of some help.

oooh dear, we are hoping to go in November, thats a bit worrying that you haven't found anything. We can't book anything as we will be validating visas and need to wait for the visa first before booking flight/accomodation.

we looked at www.brisbaneholidayvillage.com.au
and www.gatewayvillage.com.au

hope the links are ok.

good luck Jackie x

We stayed at Brisbane Holiday Village in Oct 2005. Found it very nice. Helpful and friendly staff, the cabins were very nicely decorated. Easy to commute from, only 5 mins from freeway and about 20/30 mins from Brisbane CBD.

We would recommend it and we would stay there again.

hope that helps!
