Default Holiday rent in Melbourne

Hi all,
Anybody on here know if I can rent a holiday home in Melbourne?
Im going over from Perth in early January to play the Aussie Millions poker tournament at the crown casino.
I've done a few searches online but cant find anything appropriate, is there a site like Poms in Perth thats based in Melbourne?

I need a house as Im taking my family of five, hotels are real expensive for five people.

thx

We're currently staying here: http://www.melbourne.stays.com.au/23866. It's lovely and clean and sleeps 5 (1 dbl and bunks with a dbl and single). It's a bit of a trek from the city but close to the Dandenongs.

Thx sounds ideal, are you close to the station for a train to the city?
How far/long from the city are you, say by car?

thx

Try britvics (same thing as poms in perth), Andy Thomas arranges accommodation in the Mornington area if this helps.

Hi, we're about an hours train journey to the CBD and 5 mins to the nearest mall (Knox City). It's a 15 min walk to the train station. Bayswater is not the prettiest suburb but if you're looking to explore the neighbouring areas it's a good base and the house is comfy and cheap.
