Holiday Parks in Geelong
We plan on staying in a holiday park cabin or something for the first few weeks after we arrive until we find a permanent rental.
Any recommendations in Geelong? Been looking at Riverglen Holiday Park and Barwon Caravan Park but would prefer a personal recommendation.
Cheers

Hi Judy
Were you thinking of a beachside location? If so, then easily recommend Torquay Caravan Park. Queenscliff, Pt Lonsdale Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads are all obviously coastal and all OK. Not sure of their "opening times".
Barwon Caravan Park would be the most central. Never heard anything bad about it. Close to public transport, shops etc. And i think that it's either in or at the edge of highton...isn't that where you're interested in living?
Moolap caravan Park is ok, but I think you'd feel isolated. Its not far out of geelong, but not really near anything.
BTW r u bringing your beds with u? I have a lovely wooden queen sized sleighbed that Im trying to sell.......
Best wishes
Eli

Thanks for the info. We'd probably like to be quite central in Geelong so Barwon looked good location wise. Their website doesn't do the cabins any favours though.......but I suppose you get what you pay for ! Would have been good to hear from someone that had stayed there.
No, we're not bringing our beds over. Do the Sleighbells come for free ??!!
