Hi GeorgieAndNathan and Welcome to BE.
You can see if you qualify for a visa here...

And also the immi forum for visa related questions here.

Good luck in your quest.

Re: Hi to all
We are eligable for a skilled independant or a skilled regonal visa, they are the recomended ones and we have been told that we meet the criteria so we have a very high chance

Hi and welcome. I can't help you much about Perth as my experience is Sydney and Melbourne, but I'm sure the Perthites will be helpful
Good luck with your visa

Well neither of us are happy in uk anymore, job prospects are slim and its getting worse and worse living wise. When we have children we want them to be able to have to best opportunities and life to live. We have relitives out there and that would be lovely to be near them as we are so close. We are 100% on going as long as we get our visas, australia is where we want to be

While it's true Australia is not the land of milk and honey, it's still worth having an adventure in if you're young and want something new in your life. If I were you I would give it a shot. You can always move back again, plus there's the added benefit that the Australians aren't debasing their currency to death, so the economy will be naturally stronger from that point alone.
