Default Helpful advice wanted about possible move to Australia from Scotland

Hi. I'm a final year Vet Student at the University of Glasgow and instead of staying in dreary old UK for my first few years in the big bad world, I thought i'd go for somewhere exciting. My first choice was the US (I had a job offer there but I didn't have enough time to apply for the National Board exams - meh) so I thought why not try Australia as you don't have to do exams to get a job straight off? I was thinking about relocating to either the Melbourne area OR somewhere on the Gold Coast. I have absolutely NO idea about nice places in Australia or anything or even how to go about moving over there etc so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to BE Kirsten. Do some searches on here for places which interest you and you'll be here all night reading all about them. Ask as many questions as you can and research as much as possible. Before you know it, you'll have it sussed, I'm sure.

Good luck.
