Hmmm worth thinking about!!

Managed to finally get through tonight!! Yipppppeee

Spoke to a really nice lady who told me that they are a little behind with applications, said we are in Region 1 and would hear from a case officer in the next two weeks!! So fingers crossed!!

Was for some reason very nervous when I rang, but neednt have been as she was a very helpful lady!!

Right then, I will definately ring tonight.

Go for it, I was really nervous for some really strange reason, not that sort of person normally!!

But no need to worry, Lady said to me that is what they are there for, to ring if you have questions or worries!! Could of kept her talking for ages if she really wanted to hear ALLLLLL my worries!!

Just phoned and got through 2nd try.I think I got the same nice lady who gave me my ref. no. and sounded a bit concern that there was no movement on our case so she suggested emailing ASPC to try and find out more.

Just emailed.

I phoned at 10.30 last night and spoke to a guy who was ok, nice enough.

I didn't get good news though, we are applying for a 138 visa and they are only up to June on those at the minute :scared: apparently. He said ours would be another few weeks! What is a few weeks? 2? 4? more?

As our application got there mid September I think we could be waiting till June to hear anything

Bit fed up now.

Just a quick update. Phoned DIMIA last night and spoke to a very helpfull lady who gave us our reference number and told us that we are region 3. She was however concerned that we had had no movement so gave us the email address for region 3 and we sent them an email also.

Anyway got a fast reply and was told that we will be allocated a case officer on Thursday and that we should hear something in 2 weeks.

For anyone interested we are 136 MODL.
sent application 17 Aug
acknowledged 9 sept
and we are in region 3.

Will let you know more when I do.

Blimey Georgina, I feel a bit bad for moaning now, you should have heard by now cos you are MODL!!!

Maybe an idea to arrange for your medicals and Police Clearance if you haven't already done so, as they will more than likely be requested once the CO has been allocated.

Dont feel bad! It is actually ok for us, as much as we WANT it now we have a lot to sort out that isn,t going as fast as we would like so in a way the more time the better. I will be making the most of my 70 days for medicals to be done. I was just worried that we hadn't heard anything and other had had their requests and their visas.

I know, it's awful.

I'm so glad I found BE I think I would have gone mad without it. At least you know you are not alone, close friends and relative's just don't really understand how much this process takes over your life.
