Help! Quick de facto question...
Just a quick one...
We're collecting everything together to post off the de facto spouse application. In the ticklist of things to include it mentions certified copies of passport, birth certificate, etc. There's no mention of the originals. Can we send the originals, or does it HAVE to be certified copies? As time is getting a bit pressured now, I'd rather send originals, but the form doesn't mention that option....
Plus (I'll keep it quick - honest) we've been living together for over 18mths, but all the statements we've found are for 11 months onward! We have photos and letters from family/ friends saying we've lived together for longer, but initially all the bills were just in my name. We can prove a relationship was there for longer, but only 11 mths for the actual co-habiting.... (despite fact we have co-habited for 18mths)
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

Re: Help! Quick de facto question...
If you send originals send a return registered delivery or something like that as things seem to have a habit of getting lost.
With the co-habiting search for posts by mlbonner on here and the immigration forum as she had to supply more info for her defacto visa and thre were lots of good ideas on those threads.
Good Luck
