Hi everyone. This is my first post on BE.

I am so excited as my partner and I have just had our visa applications accepted for sydney NSW. Paul has been offered an internal vacancy through his work as a repair technician in Glasgow and we are moving over before the year is out!!

Problem is I don't know Sydney very well and Paul's going to be working in silverwater which I hear is very industrial. Does anyone know of good surrounding suburbs close by where we could rent a place?

Try nearby Newington and Homebush Bay
Lots of newer units/townhomes that may well suit.
