Dear All,
I have taken on board what has been said - both positive and negative.
It is true I only occasionally lurk around this forum these days. I have found ex staff who have started their own businesses posing as disaffected clients to be childish, annoying and obvious.
I dont give away free advice in the hope of snaring a new paying client.
If you want to do your own application - go for it. If you want to pay an agent - market forces operate on me as they do on consumers (and competitors - however cute they think they are being).
Anyone with a genuine gripe can come directly to me and they will have my personal attention. (0131 625 6906- except for a week from wednesday 6/7/05 when I get my 7 days in the sun.) Owen or one of the 5 other registered Migration Agents attached to OE will be happy to help in my absence.
Anyone with a word of praise can do similarly.
Running a practice the size of OE is not as easy as having 30 or even 300 active clients to be concerned about. It is about putting in safeguards in place so that all who are committed to purchasing our representation get what they pay for. If they dont my neck is on the line. I owned up when this has happened in the past and made sure the client has been put first .
I believe I am getting closer to a service I would be happy to pay for myself. Kai Zen is a principle we are committed to here. Woodwardesque improving 100 things by 1%. (Though hopefully better than his Rugby Team are performing currently)
As I said at the beginning - I take on board what has been said - good and bad and stress, that I am happy to talk to anyone who feels he has a grievance against my company.

It all depends on how complicated it is, the whole thing is quite straight forward, but nobody will tell you the things you need to know.
We ended up useing George Lombard who was great and a good price compared to most others and he has a lot of contacts.
Our visa took 4 months, quicker than quick.

I think this is the key point. You are only now getting close to a service that you would be happy to pay for. What does this say about the service that you have given in the past? If you felt it needed improving you should not have been charging the full fee or you should have been reimbursing those who had to suffer a poorer, inadequate service. We feel very badly 'ripped off' by your company and would certainly not recommend you to anyone else.

this guys name comes up tops on this site time after time.
so far ive not seen a post that complains about him, but many have been singing his praises.
theres a few who think they would never had a visa without george. i dont know the guy or had anything to do with him. but im just going by what others have said about him in this forum
