Has anyone applied as a Care Officer?
Hi
I'm looking into applying as a Residential Care Officer and I need advice from someone who's been down this route. Main question is what qualification did they use to have it passed by vetassess. I have NVQ level 3 is this enough? Any other advice would be very welcome! Seems like I'm at the start of a very complex avenue

I'm in WA and an NVQ wouldn't get you in here, not sure about SA but I'm fairly certain they wouldn't accept an NVQ either.
sorry I couldn't be of any more help
perhaps Jeremy will be able to advise you?

RCO's (Social Trainers) in WA are not in demand, again can't comment on SA, we have bucket loads of them.
