Handed my notice in !
Handed my notice in today, which was a bit unnerving as I am actually quite happy in my job. I don't actually like working, but if I have to then this is the best option! My boss was devastated, and has promised to keep my job for me if I want to come back.
At least if it doesn't work out for us I can have my old job back. This has cheered me up a bit!
Surveyor also came and looked at the house today. Estate agent said it all went smoothly. Fingers crossed we are one step closer!

Hi Tinaj
So did I, I was very happy about it as the job was not what I expected and I only stuck with it for almost a year because I was waiting to get my visa for Australia and because it paid well. We felt we needed to save as much money as possible for our arrival in Australia. Still it is a funny feeling to know that soon all this will be very far away (on the opposite side of the world!!). Will have another two months to go, but. Then we're hopefully off to the Sunshine Coast if there are any flights left around this time of the year. I feel things from now on will happen pretty quick, (I'm still not worried too much yet, how about you?).
Good luck to all you out there who are in a similar situation...
