but are they true gypsies ? Like you say it is the system and because they refuse to conform to the mindless humdrum and tedious materialistic claptrap that we all aspire to they are ostracised and marginalised and thus if they are thieving etc they may as well because everyone will be saying its them anyway.
The aboriginals in australia to a certain degree put their clan and family first ,much the same as the gypsies and because they refuse to kowtow to the claptrap world the whites live in ,they to are ostracised in their own country .
Its a clash of two systems which is the right one ?

I seriously considered not responding to this post as whatever my response I'm damned, however after careful consideration and speaking personally, moderators cap firmly removed, in a traditional Vash style fragmentation:

Yes I am a mod I'm also an individual poster with an opinion I chose to voice, I see no reason to mute any response or tone down my previous [pre mod]style I didn't say anything rude, untrue or malicious. I therefore refute your allegation in it's entirety. As there have been far worse attacks both personal and abusive on numerous members recently one can only conclude that as you haven't reported any nor voiced your opinions in any, your sole condemnation of my post can only be seen as personal.
As to the playground attitude I can only say if the "grown up's" behave childishly they should expect to be treated accordingly.

I wasn't actually referring to that particular incident, it was, as you say "over two years ago & between you and another poster", one can only guess that it's still playing on your mind. However since you've brought it up I do remember it very well, as I recall you personally attacked another poster, you told blatant lies about that person on an open forum, then when the going got tough and you were unequivocally discredited you very wisely deleted your posts alleviating possible court action. As you are aware I still have that entire post pre deletion saved to disc, maybe I should post it as a sticky to be used as a benchmark of unacceptable behaviour. As many long time posters are aware my polite retort to Vash pales into insignificance alongside your vitriolic bile. You allege bullying and gang mentality, the many people who rallied around your innocent victim saw it as showing support for a person who has been a good friend to many and helped countless others through often daunting times. Your correct I did defend the poster, I wouldn't hesitate to do the same again for a friend subjected to that kind of level of personal character assassination.

So I'm manipulating the site owners now? Wow! next you'll have me standing on the grassy knoll at the Dealey Plaza.

As for me playing the victim, that's about the most laughable thing I've ever read about myself on here, subjugator to victim in two paragraphs well done. If you'd care to provide just one post to back up the hogwash victim claim. I don't ever recall either being victimised or purporting to be you must have me confused with someone else.
I politely point out a few indiscretions albeit in a tongue in cheek style and in you wade with your current tirade alleging abuse, humiliation, bullying, gang mentality and new buzz word of the week "subjugation". I'm happy for forum members to make their own mind up who's the real manipulator here.
I also find it kind of ironic that what your doing here is exactly what your taking the moral high ground with me over.

FWIW I think Vash posts some fantastic stuff and provides a balance to some of the more radical pro U.K posters, however when it's incorrect I reserve the right to rebuff said inaccuracies. I certainly don't have issues on a personal level with Vash and would quite enjoy sharing a few beers and bulshit stories with him if I ever had the pleasure of meeting him. My original post stands in it's entirety as does my subsequent apology to Vash if I did indeed offend him in any way.

Now lets discuss the Gypsies issue as I have nothing more to say to you.

You really are a funny little man....

The incident you refer to [and are now squirming away from] actually happened between myself and your moderator drinking pal and had NOTHING to do with you whatsoever. Nor were you involved in the full story. Of course you believe what you want to, that's your perogative and I really don't care...LOL

The REAL, never told before version was that TWO years ago....your particular moderator drinking pal took every opportunity to ridicule their Aussie husband, his family, his culture and his country.

However, when other members on this forum became exacerbated by this, I PM'd the person concerned to highlight how they were being perceived.

The reason I PM'd was because said moderator was again whinging on this site that they had set up a drinking session in the city and had got no response. No one was taking up their offer of an Expat meet.

I PM'd your drinking pal, ...and privately and discreetly informed them it could be because people were fed up of her incessant whinging at everything Aussie. I explained politely that Expats probably don't want to meet up for a drink with someone who constantly slates the country they have chosen to live in..

My thoughts at the time were your drinking pal obviously didn't understand why there was no response and at least by PM'ing her, and being honest, and giving private feedback ...she may understand why [I had asked people to support this person, for us all to go drinking and was told no way, shes a bunny boiling whinging pom].....

What I got in return for my PM was "I am again the victim".......a pattern of events I see again and again....

The whole episode turned into the same old circus, so I deleted the posts to stop the childish and vitriolic carry on. Some people like yourself were getting into a frenzy and I couldn't be arsed to argue. I therefore decided to take the polite option and apologise gracefully.

As for court action. Please don't make me laugh. I'm splitting my sides here.

I said NOTHING that this person hadn't said on the site before. I had only repeated what had been publicly stated before by the person themselves.

What I said was just a repeat of their statements.
