Default Greetings from NZ

Greetings from the Bay of Islands. It's raining and forecast to rain for the next two days at least. We had two lovely sunny warm days in Auckland at the weekend and walked miles round town and Devonport. The third day the top half of the Skytower disappeared in the clouds.

Stayed at the Carlton Hotel and it was excellent, especially as we booked the Carlton Club priveledges - free food and coffee all day in the special lounge.

But now..... what do you do on a wet Tuesday in Paihia?

welcome to NZ - never mind about the rain, at least you can watch coronation street tonite!!!

The Dept of Conservation visitor centres are always worth a look, find some brochures to browse through etc. They usually have sections on the rest of NZ too so you can make some plans.

Yes you can watch Coronation St tonight. Only thing is it was on in the UK 6 months ago.

Hi,

It's fine today. Went across the bay to Russell yesterday and almost missed the rain. Going back to Auckland tomorrow then flying to Brisbane on Saturday. Few nights there, sort out bank, med ins etc then down to Mount TAmborine on Wed.

After that expect reports on how John Mason really did with our shipping! Actually we might be able to spot the container ship in Auckland tomorrow - do we want to?

theresaconnor is an unknown quantity at this point
Thumbs up

We moved the NZ at the end of last year and cannot speak high enough of John Mason's service. From start to finish they answered all of my questions promptly and their service was the very best I have come across in all my moves nationally and international.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
