In my jobsearch training course we were told it takes an average of 24 weeks to find a job!

It's just taken me 6 months to get my latest job and i have been applying for everything in admin, retail, reception, temping, sales, PA, call centres, in all types of environments.

6 months is a long time. I suppose trying to find a teaching job could be even more difficult esp for me when I am PE trained!

ive never seen snow on neighbours and the suns always shining in home and away

It may be warm & sunny but unemployment is unemployment.
Endlessly applying for jobs, getting the occasional response & even rarer interview is absolutely soul destroying regardlessof the weather.

Na it never rains, when you live in Oz you don't have to do anything like washing, ironing etc just spend your day sitting by your pool. Its great here, and obviously the recession is no where near as bad as it is in the UK
