Hello,

Anyone got any information or views on Gosford NSW.
I believe it's about 1 hour from sidney.Good or bad place to live.Any info would be great.

hmmm now the name rings a bell...my mate lived there for many years and had no complaints they moved recently to be nearer the beach they said.

I have some friends who've lived up there for about 18 years. They love it & their kids love it, & they have a lovely lifestyle. Their kids can safely walk to school each day along a bush path, & they have an amazing range of wildlife in the yard.

I've been up to visit a number of times & the train journey from Sydney doesn't take too long, and has seemed reliable & cheap every time - also fab views along the Hawkesbury, so quite a scenic trip. I think the price of property up there is cheaper than Sydney & the place seems very friendly. An added bonus: there is at least one very good Indian restaurant up there!
