There are about 3 primary schools in Duncraig and I've heard good reports about 2 of them, don't know about the 3rd. The high school also has a good reputation.
My concerns about Carramar would be about the neighbouring suburb Banksia Grove.
Wanneroo is a large local council area and would include lots of suburbs and schools, including Carramar and Quinns Rocks, see more here: http://profile.id.com.au/Default.asp...d=10&type=enum. I have heard negative comments about Wanneroo Senior High School and some of the primaries don't seem too appealing. Have a look on the MySchool website to get an idea about each school, you can search by suburb or school name http://www.myschool.edu.au/.
I recently met a mum whose child went to Ellenbrook Primary, she wasn't too impressed, but she had a child with special needs, so that school might be OK for most. There are several BE members who live in Ellenbrook, so you could use the search function to find them and ask. Ellenbrook is not as well-served by public transport, there was talk of a train line out there, but no timetable as to when it might be built.
If you can manage it, it would be useful to live in the catchment area for a good state high school, or be prepared to pay private school fees from Year 7 onwards - if you can get a place.
