We are still undecided about where we are going but have narrowed it down either to Perth or Brisbane. We are looking for a relaxed lifestyle but not so much its comatosed. Friendly people and lots for the kids to do. But most importantly, and i cant stress this nearly enough, is a decent golf course for hubby. We arent taking any of our stuff, just clothes and essentials but we do have to accommodate the clubs - he would get withdrawal symptoms if he thought he couldnt play golf - sad i know - can anyone suggest some decent courses he could drool over!!

My hubbys the same. He's been looking at moving to Secret Harbour (Perth) because he can virtually live on the golf course. You can buy a house that backs onto and overlooks the golf course. Seems to be a nice area with good beach etc so is a possibility for us.

Re: Golf -
All depends on your definition of "decent"...
check out www.iseekgolf.com.au but in the meantime some good brisbane courses include
Pacific
Redland Bay
Brookwater
Indooropilly
The Brisbane
Nudgee
Outside BRisbane courses tend to be more "resorty" but include
North to Sunshine Coast
North Lakes
Hyatt Coolum
Twin Waters
Pelican Waters
Perigian
South to Gold Coast
Hope Island
Sanctuary Cove
The Glades
etc etc
Basically a hell of a lot that'll support all tastes and standards except a British Links style. For that it'll need a golf trip to Victoria.
