Gold Coast Christmas In July Expats Meet 2012
This event is the 6th held on the Gold Coast. expats from Brisbane, the
Sunshine Coast, Tweed and from afar attend this event each year. The day starts with the International football match England V Scotland (with some Irish and Welsh - cos the Scot couldn't manage with us ).
There is a visit from Santa. The club will supply free food at night to all who attend. The drink is cheap and its a great event to catch up with others who have moved to the other side of the world
The game kicks off at 12 on Saturday the 14th of July at the Southport Soccer Club in Ashmore on the Gold Coast

Just turn up, you'll soon get chatting; Soapy is the one who will be running round madly trying to round up his team, he'd be pulling his hair our if he had any!
I'll be the one with the purple witchy hat, I usually go by train and as Bernie won't be here as lookout he's right, I will need a stand-in

well, thank you to everyone who turned up to round two of the golf event! Scotland V The Rest Of The World. Scotland took the title the score being 3.5 to 2.5. well dont the Scots. The whole day was outstanding. A big thank you to Malky, Rab and Scotty for all your hard work lads. Just wanted to say another thank you to all who donated prizes. The of the most fun days I've had in ages!
