Right im down to my last year of my pr visa,so need to get moving,things in place before my visa expires next year.
As im dealing with so much other day to day things right now,with working away from home etc etc i wanted to ask what is required to take with you,advised to take with you before leaving.

The things for example are.

dentist records
doctor records
car insurance(no claims)
job references
I dont rent i own my place,but looks like i would need to rent at first in australia so what could be use for this as in being able to rent.

I could go on and on im more of less looking for a list of what it highly recommend to take with me,cancel or keep open etc.
As im down to my last year on my visa time is going to pass so quick and i just seem to have so much to deal with or getting my head around what required.
And while doing my daily day to day jobs and being away from home at work etc.
Any advise,help,info would be great.

I didn't bother with doctors or dentist records. I guess if you have an ongoing complaint that always needs work then it's probably a good idea.

I think Mrs Beoz brought the no claims bonus

I took all the important photo's with me on the plane and stuffed them into what turned out to be a 17kg suit bag - it works well for all the important docs - just don't act as if it's heavy

As for renting but far from essential. You just need to demonstrate that you aren't going to trash the place and you can pay the rent.
