Why is it so hard?

How many companies do you know in the UK that sponsor overseas workers??

Let's see...

-It takes quite a while to go through the sponsorship process, so it takes them a lot longer to get an employee
-The cost of the sponsorship process (application, relocation, etc)
-Difficulties with overseas workers (waiting for them to sell houses indefinitely)


So why sponsor someone when you can find someone local?

Exactly. As an employer unless your job is that specialised you really cant find anyone locally, it is just madness to jump through hoops to sponsor anyone.

Because there are already a high number of unemployed people who can probably do the job. They can only sponsor overseas if they can’t find someone here to do that job.

Citizens first, that’s how it is and how it should be.
