I need some help i purchased a car some 7 months ago in victoria and now my rego is due on the 12th sept.

But as i am a backpacker and traveling with my car i am in perth with it and was wondering how i can renew the rego.

I have looked on the website but find little info i know i can pay for it online with card is this correct but is this the only thing thats needed just rego.

Or are there other fees or stuff to do as really the rego alone is enough for me and i really dont want to pay for that but i have no option unless i sell my car.

I have 5 months left in oz so i will sell the car with rego or cash it in before i go home and get my money back.

But as each state is different and rules are different i was wondering what or how vir roads work as a guy at work said to me today in perth when the get new rego they need to get car inspected or checked out is this the same for vic roads and if so how is this possible when i am in perth.

I would be greatfull if someone from victoria could give me info as i cant seem to find anything about it.
