We quite fancy renting a nice place by the beach not too far from Perth City centre etc.... Looks like most places are booked up though...Don't want to spend a fortune on accomodation as we will be out most days and have friends in Lansdale to visit along with Marg riv etc.....anymore suggestions?

We stayed for a week in Ocean Reef which is only about 20 minutes or so from Perth, that was $780 for one week and was cheaper the longer you stayed. There were a few of us sharing though so it wasn't expensive for us. Was a few minutes walk from the beach. It was on Fireball Way if you're interested.

Hi

Congrats on your wedding.

Try this website: www.privateprop.com Their accommodation looks lovely although I have not tried it.

We stayed in a gorgeous apartment in Prevelly Park just outside Margaret River (by the coast with gorgeous views) Trying to find out/remember the name. It was 3 bedrooms that was designed like a Moroccan Kasbah with really gorgeous high beds and the rooms were big enough to have travel cots in them. It had a large barbie area, rear garden, private gates, large living room and kitchen.

We have recently just returned from Perth and used Cottesloe Cars. They are in Swanbourne area between Perth City Centre and Fremantle just off the Stirling Highway and near Grant Street train station. We got a small car on a 7 day hire and managed to get an small 2 door automatic for $20 per day. Definitely worth a look. Cant find the number but guess they will be on google. Alternatively when you arrive at Perth Airport you can pick up brochures/leaflets that offer discount with all the usual big hire companies.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Thanks Watty I will check it out. Also seen this website which shows some good hotel deals http://www.discoverwest.com.au. . Does anyone know if pushchairs can be hired in Perth as our mountain buggy ones will be too big to carry over there and back with 2 little uns! Crazy thing is, we bought them over there and brought em back before the kiddies arrived!! I think we should look at emigrating really!
