getting impatient!!!!!!
we finally got the cute little stickers in our passports today, now we just want to go, but have still not sold the house, which has been on the market 6 weeks. has anybody gone to oz, and left the house sale for solicitors to sort out????

We are in the same situation - got passports back today with stickers in (took 2 weeks by post) and waiting for house to sell. It has been on the market for 3 weeks - we have people interested but they can't sell their houses. Getting more impatient as time goes by but the market is slow. If nothing happens soon we shall be considering our options of either renting (which doesn't suit us financially) or as you say, Andie, leaving it to the solicitors to sort out.
We always seem to be waiting ..........

'fraid you'll just have to be patient, unless you're lucky enough to be able to afford 2 mortgages.

After waiting nearly 3 years from start to finish for a visa, then having your house up for sale for 10 months ,these kind of posts never fail to make me chuckle.
