Default Garage sales..Sunshine Coast...where advertised?

Hiya

We are looking to go to some local garage sales along the Sunshine Coast. Where are they advertised? Which paper? Any particular day of the week to look for the details?

Cheers

Saturdays "Sunshine Coast Daily" it also has the property pull out section.
I maybe wrong but I think they also advertise the garage sales in the Friday edition.

You have to be up early, I have heard some people have stood banging at the front door 5.30am even if its advertised "not before 7am"

That's very common, and normally traders trying to get the best bargains to onsell.

Our local Friday Free paper has all the garage sales advertised.

If you're looking for housy stuff, there's also an Auction on - "Auctions r Us" in a warehouse on Production Ave, Kawana - every second Sunday. You need to get there around 9am to have a look around for anything of interest, then register to get a number if you want to bid. Auction starts at 10am - goes on until lunchtime.

It's all new gear - mainly from China - housy things - but there are some bargains to be had depending on what you're looking for.

Sorry don't know. You could try a google search. Failing that, you can go to the place during the week, the week before the Auction and pick up a listing of all the items that are going to be sold.

Last time I went there were good deals on mattresses, sofas (or lounges as they call them here!), packs of timber decking, bathroom vanity units, taps, mirrors, kitchen sinks but stuff changes over the weeks.
