Default Full Board Hotels in Gold Coast

We're looking for a nice hotel on the Gold Coast where we can stay whilst on our validation trip this June.

We've seen lots of nice hotels on the internet (particlarily the Breakfree hotels) but none seem to offer full/half board options. Is this the case generally with hotels in the Gold Coast or are we looking in the wrong places.

We really want a half/full board option as I don't think either of us want to spend an hour or two each cooking. Any hotel recommendations or links would be appreciated as well.

Thanks.

Room and breakfast is the norm.

There are plenty of options for eating out on the Gold Coast, the best bet is to ask for ideas on which places may be best and in your budget.

Here is one example of a Hotel restaurants menu at ANA Hotel Gold Coast
Grilled Centre Cut of Beef Tenderloin, Choice of choron, peppercorn or mushroom sauce, with sweet potato mash & sauteed greens $27.00

You don't have to stay at the hotel to eat there.

Thanks, the reason I was primarily looking for full board was because my company is paying the accomodation costs of our validation trip. Therefore, I was trying to get booked in somewhere where board is included.

One less holiday expense that I have to pay for when we go out there.

If I can only get hotel accomodation with breakfast included I suppose I could try stuffing the kids full of breakfast so that they won't want to eat for the rest of the day.

Anyone know of any other nice Gold Coast hotels?

I see.
In that case I suggest contacting some of the hotels with Restaurants, I am sure they would be more than happy to do a special rate including meals. Most will be doing room only or room and breakfast just to keep the prices down for the Majority of tourists.

Does your company have a budget ? or is it pay anything charged ?

Hi Elksa
We run a holiday complex on Main Beach.

We came from the tourism industry in Europe where the hotel my husband was running was half board. Heren in Australia, most of the places seem to be self contained and dont even offer breakfast
However, this places full of restaurants and it is easier to eat out in one of these.

If you have any questions you can pm me.
