Where are you from in UK? Have you just moved here from the UK? I have been here since Nov 07.

I"m in Morpeth and would love to meet up - I work in Speers Point and don't get back until just gone six but would love to meet for a coffee on Thursday late night shopping or at a weekend.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all see this. It appears on here we are notified when we get a personal email on here, as in it is not sent to hotmail or whatever we are on, Have you all noticed this?
My friend and I are thinking abut starting an expat group- Brits in Newcastle or something?? Like the Sydney one that runs. We were thinking maybe once a month all meet up for meal and some drinks etc, can go to different restaurant each month. I know I have not meet any of you yet, but i think is great idea. I think there would be about 9 of us so far and the more the merrier. What do you all think about this? maybe reply to this thread so we get notified or maybe it just me that doesn't get them..lol

We're in Rutherford near Maitland, recently moved from Singleton. We celebrated being here a year this week. We've made quite a few friends transferred from British Army to Australian Defence Force and a few other friends but not really met up with anyone in this area yet.

Hi all, im new to this site so any pointers would be good. We have just moved to muswellbrook for husband work and I would love to meet some fellow brits...Husband is Australian with lots of friends and im feeling a bit left out!!! lol for some reason im unable to read private messages..Would love to meet up and have a chat.
