Default fridges

Could someone please tell me if it is worth taking our new fridge, it is only 12 months old, or should we sell it before we go and buy a new one when we arrive?

Thanks

I think someone mentioned once that the Aus fridges are Tropical which cools more thta a UK one. Is this true - Pollyana or BP will know.

aus fridges have thicker insulation and cooling unit, uk fridges could cope south aus but in queensland it would probably would'nt cope.

Doesn't it really depend on where you keep your fridge??
I mean, if it's in the garage or somewhere then yeah it would probably go into overdrive, but, and I'm no technical whizz or anything mind, if it's in the kitchen, which I am led to believe are mostly air conditioned, then won't it work fine???

I mean. I wouldn't want to work in the kitchen if it was 40 degrees either
