Freelance journos?
Long shot I know, but any freelance journalists out there? I'm doing some work at TV networks, have a TFN, but they asked me if I have an ABN number. I'm wondering if that's worth getting, and can I claim loads of tax back? Any number crunchers out there?

I might be wrong but I think Hutch is a freelancer to some degree.

It's all about freelancing and covers writers, designers, illustrators and
although it's a glogal community it is based in Sydney so plenty of Aussie
freelancers on there. There's also a forum if you want to ask there.
