Just a quick post to ask if any of the apparently numerous recent arrivals in Cairns fancies a game of football (no, that's right, football or as some aussies say "soccer" but we try and discourage that kind of talk!)

Anyways, it's 11 a side, outdoors on grass on either monday or wednesday evenings at Trinity Beach. Great bunch of lads from all over inc. poms, aussies etc. etc. including Youngy73 (if his knee ever gets better).

Nothing serious, but reasonable standard, social game with a beer or two afterwards.

As I'm sure you know Rich, we've been stringing together a few good results lately, and still we're struggling to get 11.

Coupl eof the young lads James and his mate are only gonna be with us for another 6 weeks so we've got to plan ahead.

Kev ? he's too pre-occupied with formations ! lol !

Last match, he took himself off and we then had a right back, a right midfield and a right wing, with only 1 lad in central midfield (my mate Trev).
I was like, WTF is going on ?

Haven't seen your sorry ar*e down there despite your promise to come and have a drink with the lads ?
We're playing the rozzers on wednesday @ 6:45 so no excuses, I wanna see you there to watch us wup 'em good !
