I've just been checking out the flights to Brisbane.
We want to stopover in Hong Kong. I've found a price with Qantas leaving london on 31st Aug to Hong Kong until the 4th Sept. then on to Brisbane.
The price is £1751 for me and 2 kids (16 & 11). I think that sounds really good. What does everyone else think?

Yep, that's a good deal, does that include a hotel for the stop over?

If you want accomodation in HK then I'd highly recommend the YMCA in Kowloon. It is a proper hotel (not a hostel) and is right in the middle of the action. Walking distance (5 mins) to Star ferry and all the shops.
Have a look here

I would definatly choose HK over Singapore, far more exciting!
