Default Flights booked!
Flying from Heathrow to Perth, via a few nights in Singapore, 14th April. OMG it's actually happening . When does it sink in?? It all seems completely unreal.

Hi Nicky,

It didnt really sink in until i was on the plane flying over India ! The last couple of weeks were spent in a drunken haze saying goodbye to friends & family !

Good luck, enjoy your stay in Singapore & your new life in Oz.

we're also waiting for the house to sell so that we can go. Seems there are a few of us in the same boat. Is anyone else really frustrated by it. All through the application process you feel like you're on a rollercoaster and I thought this would finish once the visa was granted. It still feels so far away!

Anyway congrats and good luck with the move

Cheers all. We sold our house in November and have been renting since, from a very nice landlady who didn't need us to sign a 6 month contract We have been very lucky. Just can't wait to go now. Going to look at a venue for our leaving party tonight.

It's starting to feel real. It's nice that we have a date to work towards now.
It's madness really. You sit twiddling your thumbs, getting on with day to day things, while waiting for the visa and then all of a sudden it's into panic mode. So much to do, so little time!! But really exciting too!!

Hi Nicky,

Its exciting isn't it!

We have shippers in tomorrow so no BE for a while...and we fly out this friday from london Heathrow straight to Sydney via Dubai.

I must admit I am excited but finding it all abit much right now!

Congrats Nicky, All the best . We are off to Perth my husband and 16 month baby , can I ask which hotel in Singapore you opted for, any recommendations Thanks
