Hi there I recently arrived in Melbourne after moving over from the UK.
I am a keen fisherman and would love to find some local hotspots!!
Hopefully someone on here can help with some local knowledge!!

Freshwater - Yarra River nr Warrandyte Bridge for Murray Cod and maybe Trout. Dights Falls in Fairfield for Carp. Sugarloaf Reservoir for Carp and Redfin.

Saltwater - Kerferd and Lagoon Piers (Port Melbourne) for Pinkie Snapper and Flathead. Station Pier for Sharks. St Kilda Pier for Flathead; Beaumaris Pier for squid. Docklands for Bream.
