Default First Aid course recognised in Oz

My and hubby are thinking of doing a first aid course to take to Oz with us.

Does anyone know if they are recognised over there.

Thanks

Melissa

You would be much better advised to do a 'senior first aid course' with an outfit like st.john's ambulance once in OZ, especially if it is necessary to your work. Costs around $300 (120 pounds).

Just done St Johns Senior First Aid course myself, it cost no more than $130. I would recommend updating.... In the past 3 weeks they have changed the way CPR is done and don't forget that you could be dealing with bits and stings that would not have been covered in a UK course.

All the best
