Doulene and Hilda (now at AVMS www.austvisa.com.au) did our 136 MODL visa application this year and we got our visa in under 3.5 months (not including TRA - then took 5.5 months).

I would highly recommend both of them as they did an excellent job for us!

Straight forward instructions, quick next day or same day responses via email or phone calls, serious hand holding during nailbiting times without losing their rag or anything, helped with our perceived difficulties of OH having a few D&D's from a few years ago and his medical condition (type 1 diabetes).

In fact I can quite happily class them as friends now and will be keeping in touch when I land in Perth.

Hi,
We are using Andrew Sinclair Ford(sf-migration-australia.co.uk) and he has been great so far.He is emails me all the time with updates and has called a couple of times with help and advice.I feel like I can ask him anything and nothing is too silly!I have to say,he gave me alot of advice free of charge first and then,he has a clear price guide on his website,so ,so far, there have been no surprises.I think it helps that he moved to Brisbane with his family from the UK too so he knows how it feels and how complicated(and frustrating) it can be.I would recommend him,but it is down to you. There are loads of sites online if you Google the topic but it is a huge decision.Good luck!

We used "Go Matilda" and they were excellent (we got our visa a year ago). Our case was straightforward but we used an agent for "piece of mind" .And when it turned out that we had a "dopey" CO, I was very glad I didn't have to deal with him/her directly. We'll be using them as well for financial advice nearer the time of our move next year.

Took us 7months from visa submition to getting visa, all by ourselves. Mind you, took 12 months to get trade recognised and ARTC sorted prior to this.

Thanks for everyone's advice, a couple of them I had heard of and I have personally spoken who Ian Harrop after a failed first attempt at skills assessment earlier this year (not enough work experience 'till next year) who seemed like a really nice chap. It is really good to hear who other people have gone with and have been successful. I am sure I will be posting more questions soon!
Thanks!

We are using Overseas Emigration www.overseas-emigration.co.uk.
Worth contacting as they have been great for us - so far - early days as awaiting the TRA result which is due anyday.
Biggest problems are not completing the forms but all the evidence required to support the application, depending on the visa class.
Also these agencies are costly, but if I am completely honest I could not have done it without them!
Good Luck
Angela
