I just discovered the UKNova site about a week ago - I think I'm now more addicted to that site than I am to British Expats!!! :scared:

They've got a *very* wide range of stuff... (I'm currently planning to watch the Chelsea v. Liverpool match).

For anyone trying to register, I've heard they tend to purge their membership databases over the weekend, so Mondays are a good day to try registering (although I think I registered on a Thursday).

Bit torrent is GREAT! I use the Limewire programme and leech loads of stuff,
latest movies are a bit poo, but programmes are ok, PROVIDING you scan them for virus and trojans which they have lots of.

(be carefull not to let kids do searches tho!!! every other item is porn

Couple of words of warning - I used limewire a few years ago to download songs but stopped after someone told me it was laden with spyware. Also - this Torrent stuff is probably illegal on copyrighted material (but unless you do loads of it I can't see anyone coming after you)

It has spyware, but I have a scan that picks Everything up, and well yeah its illegal as far as most peer 2 peer is illegal, and it is ripping copy right to bits,
as Napster will tell ya.

If you are taking care of the spyware you obviously know your onions. I've never really got into ripping but then my PC is old and I only have 600kb broadband. Maybe when I get a shiny new PC in Aus I will get into it more.
