we flew last year, 17 jan 06, with air malaysia, they were fab, great with the children, very friendly and helpful, would definately fly with them again, gold coast was great, we stayed at the tallebudjera creek holiday park, would highly recommend, fantastic views.
there a lot of nice places to eat at Burleigh heads.

Mr Haggis Man,

We travelled with Malaysian and thought they were great. TVs at your seat with variety of films/music/kiddies games etc. and plenty food/drink. Would definately fly with them again. We also booked into the Transit Hotel at KL for 6 hrs. Didn't sleep but had shower (towels/soap/shampoo/razor/etc) all supplied in room along with tea/coffee. Lovely just to sit down and relax and unwind before the next flight.

Enjoy your reccie.

Ann

we stayed in one of the transit lounges at KL in oct last year en route back to the UK-free internet, tea/coffee, food, alcohol, TV, showers-good to relax in; from memory cost 30AUD each.

We've done this trip, but stayed overnight at the KL Pan Pacific Hotel at the airport.......all i can say about that is........FABULOUS!!!! only wished we'd had stayed longer so that we could have a massage and used the pools too!!!

Malaysian airlines were good only thing we did'nt rate was the food......yuk!!! One of my children did'nt eat anything at all. No option to buy snacks either.
Does'nt mean i would'nt travel with them again, i'd just be more prepared for the kids this time.

The GC is beautiful thats why we cant wait to get there!!!
Good luck with your trip.....enjoy!!!! C x
