Question To fence or not to fence

Does anyone know about having your pool fenced off. I was led to believe that you had to fence your pool off in case kids broke into your garden and fell into your pool. However, looking at properties for sale with photographs of their pool i ve noticed some fenced and some not. I really dont want to have to fence mine off (if we re lucky enough to have one). Cheers

if i've got this right it all depends on where you live. from what i've been told in QLD you have to have a fence round pools.

The Building Code of Australia now requires new pools to be fully fenced ie separated from the house.

In QLD, all pools are now supposed to be fully fenced.

Plenty arent tho and owners can be fined by the local council.
