Fee-free banking from ING Direct
I know that this was mentioned the other week but they now have a website for this account were you can register your interest before it goes live.
This could mean the end of monthly fees/penalties on everyday bank accounts

Don't bank on it being the end of monthly fees.
There have been many bank account options for years with no fees, so that part isn't anything new.

If anyone ever sees the "Orange Everyday Terms and Conditions", a link for that might be useful.
I can't seem to find anything, except advice to read it before opening the account.

So if there is no monthly fee.. what about the other fees? they usually absorb the monthly fee into other charges from my experience.. although I am a cynic...
